Small leaks in homes are a big problem – wasting energy and reducing a home's comfort and air quality. They are found throughout the building envelope and HVAC ductwork. These leaks are inadequately addressed by manual sealing – an inconsistent, unreliable and expensive process.
Aeroseal’s technologies, AeroBarrier and the Aeroseal HSX, eliminate these issues using the natural air flow from higher pressure to lower pressure to precisely seal undetectable and unreachable leaks. The systems inject a dry fog of sealant particles into pressurized spaces. As the air currents move to the lower pressure air outside, they pass through leaks in the building envelope or ducts. Our sealant follows those air currents, safely sealing leaks as big as 5/8" and as small as a human hair as it passes through the leaks. Software measures and tracks the entire process, creating a certificate of completion showing before and after leakage.
